Writing under the name of JD Robb, she has published the "In Death" series, a series of futuristic detective stories that have stood on their own, although they are a radical change from the novels she has written under Nora Roberts. In addition to the JD Robb pen name, she has also written under the name of Jill March. She has written over 100 different novels and is listed as one of the best selling romance novelist of all times by USA Today. Under the name of JD Robb, she has written 34 different novels in the "In Death" series. "Divided In Death" was the first bestselling novel of 2004. Her latest book in this series is 'Promises of Death" which was recently released earlier this year. There have been several films made of the books of Nora Roberts, although no films have yet been made for the books she has written under JD Robb. Most of the Nora Roberts books have been featured on the Lifetime Movie Channel.
